These accounts offer fixed interest rates for fixed terms. The bank sets the rate at the beginning of the term, fixed for the term. Terms available for up to 36 months. A low initial deposit of $3,000 is required to open any of these accounts. We are required to assess substantial penalties for the early withdrawal of funds from a time deposit account.
